JOB SUMMARY :

Review and anticipate inventory needs across the regional depot network, translating customer demand signals into an executable, cost-effective supply plan. Own the rolling demand forecast; monitor inventory health and replenishment parameters; and proactively identify supply risks, capacity constraints, and service gaps. Partner closely with Logistics, Sales, Depot Operations, and Global Planning to align on S&OP cycles, promotions, and new launches, and to drive mitigation plans (e.g., scenario planning, inter-depot rebalancing, expedite strategies). Leverage advanced planning tools and data analytics to track forecast accuracy, fill rate / OTIF, inventory turns, and working-capital targets, initiating corrective actions and continuous improvement. Serve as the regional point of contact for demand insights, providing clear, timely communication to stakeholders to ensure product availability and an exceptional customer experience.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Analyze customer demand, monitor variances to the baseline forecast, and update the rolling demand plan.
  • Prepare weekly management reports covering MB5 and other SKU inventory levels, demand trends, and key risks.
  • Escalate material supply issues to Global Planning with quantified impacts and recommended mitigation options.
  • Track total deliveries (actual vs. projected) and maintain visibility of open orders and backlog.
  • Initiate and coordinate export requests to support customers and other regions while optimizing depot capacity.
  • Partner with Depot Operations and Logistics to minimize the cost of collections and improve route efficiency.
  • Plan damage exports and coordinate with Logistics to ensure on-time delivery and proper documentation.
  • Run scenario simulations to evaluate supply risks and recommend corrective actions and contingency plans.

DAILY ROUTINES

  • Conduct daily check-ins with depots to review inventory levels and resolve any missed shipments.
  • Monitor starting inventory and proactively flag potential depot shortages, with emphasis on Zachary.
  • Update planning workbooks (GPU, Coansa, FSNR, Guatemala, Aloe) with current demand, inventory, and shipment status.
  • Communicate any changes to export plans or local deliveries to internal stakeholders and depot managers promptly.
  • SKILLS & REQUIREMENTS :

  • Bachelor's degree in business, supply chain or relevant field
  • Demonstrates the skills and competencies necessary to safely perform the assigned job, determined through on-going skills, competency assessments, and performance evaluations
  • Sufficient proficiency in speaking, reading, and writing the English language necessary to perform the essential functions of this job, especially with regard to activities impacting patient or employee safety or security
  • Solid understanding of inventory management practices and procedures
  • Strong mathematical and statistical knowledge
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent written, verbal and data visualization skills.

    Position Type, and Typical Hours of Work :

    This is a full-time position. 40hrs per week, we have a flexible working arrangement with 2 days a week office presence for all office staff in Houston.
