DevOps Tech Pod Leader
100% Remote | U.S.-Based (Eastern or Central Time Zones Preferred)
We’re hiring a DevOps Tech Pod Leader to lead complex, production-grade cloud environments for enterprise technology customers. This is a senior, hands-on role for someone who enjoys autonomy, client collaboration, and building highly reliable systems at scale.
You’ll lead a small pod of engineers while working directly with clients to design, operate, and continuously improve modern DevOps platforms. If you enjoy ownership, variety, and real-world impact, this role is built for you.
What You’ll Do
- Own delivery and execution for your DevOps Tech Pod
- Partner directly with clients on scope, priorities, and outcomes
- Lead and mentor engineers technically and professionally
- Design, operate, and scale cloud-native environments on AWS
- Architect and run multi-tenant Kubernetes platforms (EKS)
- Build automation to improve reliability, performance, and speed
- Lead production migrations using blue-green and progressive delivery patterns
- Implement new tools and improve existing platforms as requirements evolve
- Participate in client-facing and internal scrums
- Support live production systems with a focus on continuous improvement
