Job Overview :

The Data Center Engineering Team is looking for a Platform Engineer II to support and provide input into the design, architecture, implementation, security and support of our large multi-site, multi-vendor Data Center environments. The ideal candidate is passionate about customer service, highly motivated and detail oriented.

Role

• Manage and implement Data Center projects.
• Develop detailed requirements for upgrading existing MasterCard Data Center equipment, as well as re-architecting solutions in order to facilitate new requirements, technologies and growth.
• Resolve network communications and operations problems impacting Data Center equipment and performance globally.
• Participate in Data Center-related initiatives.
• Research and develop innovative solutions around unified Data Center solutions.
• Supports assigned regional projects, which include responsibility for planning; time and cost control; resource utilization and implementation.

In line with Mastercard's total compensation philosophy and assuming that the job will be performed in the US, the successful candidate will be offered a competitive base salary and may be eligible for an annual bonus or commissions depending on the role. The base salary offered may vary depending on multiple factors, including but not limited to location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Kansas City, Missouri : $76,000 - $127,000 USD
