Duke is a 55+ year family owned Chevrolet GMC dealer with a reputation for integrity, employee satisfaction and customer loyalty. Who we are looking for :

  • Even automotive school students that want to apprentice

Qualifications

  • Virginia State Inspectors License, in process, or willing to get it
  • 2+ Years of automotive maintenance and service experience.
  • Strong teamwork skills
  • Great attitude
  • Valid drivers license and good driving record

    • Responsibilities For Technicians

  • Perform work specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with dealership requirements and the up most ethics
  • Perform Virginia State Inspections, maintenance, alignments, minor brake and suspension work
  • Test-drive vehicles, and test components and systems, using diagnostic tools and special service equipment
  • Diagnosing, maintaining, and repairing vehicle automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical steering, suspension, brakes, air conditioning, etc.
  • Communicate directly with the Service Advisor so that customers can be informed if any additional service is needed.  Providing an estimate of time needed for additional repairs
  • Executing repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications
