[job_card.job_description]Assessing patients’ conditions during admissions and each shift, identifying and reporting changes promptly. Performing procedures, monitoring, and other functions as instructed, ensuring timely documentation of care. Administering prescribed medications and monitoring the patient’s response, taking necessary actions for adverse effects. Providing exceptional care by anticipating and responding to patient requests. Educating patients, families, and caregivers on medical conditions, treatments, and medications in an understandable manner. Associate Degree in Nursing or RN Diploma required. Bachelor Degree in Nursing preferred. Minimum of 6 months of experience as a Registered Nurse required. Active RN License in Texas or a Multi-State RN Compact License required. A Texas RN license must be obtained within 60 days if using a Compact license. Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required. Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) preferred, along with Emergency Nurse Pediatric Course certification must be completed within 6 months of employment. Neonate Resuscitation certification must be obtained within 90 days of employment.
