Paid Social Lead - Political

As a Paid Social Lead for Political in the Trading department, you’ll have the chance to:

• Lead Paid Social Strategy, Onboarding, Execution, and Analysis across all major social platforms including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Snapchat, and more
• Manage a portfolio of MiQ’s political clients, ensuring that all are performing & pacing optimally.
• Set external and internal expectations on needs and requirements to activate for Political Candidates on Paid Social inventory including disclaimer setup, ad account linking, and ongoing troubleshooting
• Lead clients as needed through support calls and screen sharing as needed to provide fast resolution to major roadblocks.
• Partner with 1P & 3P Data partners like L2, Targetsmart, i360 and more to activate on relevant targeting segments within Paid Social
• Deliver precise activation on Paid Social platforms to ensure all media is executed as intended and adheres to expectations set around timelines
• Support the org timely reporting and pacing outputs daily/weekly in alignment with client needs
• Describe major performance trends within client facing insights focused on metrics like Reach, Conversions, and Engagement.
• Support omnichannel teams by blending social into overall strategy and reporting deliverables that include programmatic, CTV, and more
• Serve as the organization’s Paid Social Political expert - providing support for all client questions and asks through the season alongside team leads in Sales, Account Management, Product, and more!
• Train and upskill junior members of the team on Political process and requirements to allow for associate support in campaign trafficking, pacing, reporting and more as the business grows.
• Lead all troubleshooting efforts directly with Social partners to help mitigate campaign disruption during the flight
• Adhere to thorough QA processes to ensure operational excellence and white gloved service is delivered each step of the way!

What you’ll bring

• 2-3+ years of Paid Social media buying experience within the Political and Advocacy Vertical
• Strong knowledge of Meta (Facebook Instagram). Experience in Twitter, Snapchat, and Reddit are a plus.
• Experience working in an agency environment or conditions where balancing several priorities and work streams were critical.
• Comfortable managing a high volume of client campaigns (30-50+)
• Strong foundational knowledge of Paid Social ad management platforms, algorithms, processes, and routes for expedited troubleshooting.
• Process oriented approach with eagerness to build frameworks that improve and streamline the activation process for maximum accuracy
• Strong data analysis skills with experience reviewing reporting with Paid Social metrics and using tools like excel to build pivot tables and data breakdowns that help understand and optimize performance
