Administrative Assistant

We are seeking an Administrative Assistant to join a public sector organization based in Philadelphia, PA. This individual will support daily operational and communication needs, working closely with executive leadership and cross-departmental stakeholders. This is an on-site role with a MondayFriday schedule.

Essential Duties

  • Coordinate CEO communications and manage administrative workflow.
  • Compile data and maintain reports, records, and correspondence.
  • Perform accurate and timely data entry.
  • Track absence and timesheet data.
  • Act as liaison across departments and external agencies.
  • Support registration and visitor processes.
  • Maintain calendars and schedule meetings and trainings.
  • Operate and troubleshoot office equipment.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • 23+ years of administrative experience in a professional setting.
  • Skills and Job-Specific Competencies

  • Strong written and verbal communication.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office and general office technologies.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
  • Collaborative and customer-focused mindset.
  • Travel Requirements

    No travel will be required, unless at the client's discretion.

    Salary Range

    SolomonEdwards values your unique and individual experience and background. As such, we take a comprehensive approach when determining compensation for our roles. The compensation for this specific role is based on a wide range of factors, including but not limited to education, licensure and certifications, location, experience, and training. A reasonable estimate for the current hourly range for this role is $23 24.
