As a Maitre'D, you are responsible for cooperating with the Management team and supervising the Host team to greet incoming and departing guests with a warm, knowledgeable & noticeably appreciative demeanor, and a genuine smile with eye contact. You will escort them in the elevators to their assigned table at our fine dining restaurant, present the menu, and assist the dining room staff by always communicating important guest information to the proper parties. The Maitre'D will also assist in creating seating charts, managing the service flow and accepting walk-in guests. The Maitre'D must be capable of working in a team-oriented environment to achieve the restaurant’s common goal of guest satisfaction. The Maitre'D must be personable with guests and be able to anticipate their needs.
Our establishments believe in a ‘whole house’ mentality and we expect all departments (Kitchen, Dining Room, and Facilities) to support and motivate each other to achieve our goal of guest satisfaction. As a Maitre'D, you will interact with all of these departments regularly and should be able to communicate effectively and respectfully with your co workers & managers.
This is a full time position and requires flexible schedule availability : including nights, and weekends. We are currently open 7 days a week for dinner service only. We are closed for Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, and Christmas Day. The rate for this position ranges from $28 an hour to $35 an hour (based on experience).
