[job_card.job_description]Monitor and respond to incoming help desk tickets in a timely and professional manner. Triage, categorize, and prioritize tickets according to impact and urgency. Remotely connect to end-user computers to diagnose and resolve software and basic configuration issues. Escalate complex issues to Level 2 / 3 or appropriate teams when required, providing clear documentation of steps taken. Maintain accurate ticket notes and update users on status and expected resolution timeframes. Assist with password resets, user account support, basic application support, and peripheral troubleshooting (printers, scanners). Follow standard procedures and security policies for remote access and data privacy. Participate in onboarding / offboarding tasks for user accounts as needed. Basic experience with Windows desktop OS (Windows 10 / 11) and common productivity applications (Microsoft Office). Familiarity with remote support tools (e.g., TeamViewer, AnyDesk, Remote Desktop) or willingness to learn. Strong customer service skills and clear written / verbal communication. Ability to prioritize work, multitask, and manage time effectively. Reliable attendance, especially onsite Tuesday-Thursday during the initial period. Experience with ticketing systems (e.g., ServiceNow, Zendesk, JIRA). Basic understanding of Active Directory, email configuration (Outlook), and company security best practices.

Job description
We are seeking a dependable Level 1 Help Desk Support technician to join our IT team. This is an entry-level role focused on first-line support, ticket resolution, and remote troubleshooting. The successful candidate will be expected to work in-office Tuesday through Thursday during the onboarding / training period.
Key details
- Location : 5x a week but Onsite Tuesday-Thursday to start
- Hours : Standard business hours (may include occasional shifts or on-call rotation depending on team needs)
