Project Manager

MANTECH seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented Project Manager to join our team onsite in Norfolk, VA. This is an onsite position.Join the Navy's Continuous Training Environment (NCTE) program and contribute to the evolution of warfighter readiness. We provide critical engineering and technical expertise for the U.S. Navy's premier Live, Virtual, Constructive (LVC) training capability. Our work involves seamlessly integrating live training with synthetic systems to create highly realistic and complex global training environments. We also drive the development of advanced representations for joint, theater, and national systems, and model new weapons technologies and emerging threats, ensuring our forces are prepared for any challenge.Responsibilities include but are not limited to : Lead and coordinate the scoping, technical requirements gathering, estimating, and planning for single or multiple projects or work streamsCoordinate systems development for major applications, define project requirements including information and data needs, business analysis and programmingCoordinate all meetings and interface with business units, staff and service providersDirect and manage project development from beginning to end while defining the project scope, goals and deliverables

• Determine if external consultants or contractors should be added to the internal project and / or development team(s) in order to successfully complete the projectDaily Management and coordination of all technical and logistical aspects of a project including timelines, risks, risk mitigation strategies, action items and change requestsMinimum Qualifications : Bachelors degree and 7+ years of relevant Project Management experience, OR an Associates degree and 10+ years of relevant Project Management experience, OR a High School Diploma and 13+ years of relevant Project Management experienceExperience with planning and developing project scheduleExperience with resource managementExperience with managing cost, schedule, and performancePreferred Qualifications : PMP CertificationPrior experience with NavyPrior experience with Navy Continuous Training Environment program.Clearance Requirements : US Citizenship required and an Active Secret Security clearancePhysical Requirements : Up to 25% travel required or as neededMust be able to remain in a stationary position 50%Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine and computer printerThe person in this position needs to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc.
