As one of the region's leading plumbing companies, the Westlake Group includes Westlake Plumbing (New Construction) and Benjamin Franklin Plumbing (Service). We are seeking a Superintendent of Plumbing to oversee daily on-site operations of residential and large-scale commercial plumbing projects, coordinating crews, subcontractors, inspections, and materials to ensure work progresses safely, efficiently, and according to plan. The ideal Superintendent takes pride in delivering high-quality projects, from small remodels to multi-year commercial builds, while managing multiple priorities with organization and foresight. Key Responsibilities :
Lead day-to-day operations of construction projects on-siteManage crew scheduling, work assignments, and quality controlEnsure compliance with plumbing codes, safety standards, and job specificationsCoordinate inspections and walkthroughs with local authorities and GCsCommunicate daily with Project Manager regarding progress and site needsMonitor material deliveries and ensure job satisfactionAddress on-site issues quickly and resolve conflictsMaintain accurate records of work completed and daily logsEnforce safety policies and leads by example in all jobsite behaviorParticipate in planning meetings and assist with closeout documentationSkills & Qualifications :
5+ years plumbing experience, including leadership on construction sitesJourneyman or Master plumbing license or bachelor's in construction management (as required by project scope)Strong understanding of plumbing systems, drawings, site plans and printsClear understanding of complex construction sequences and processes and relation to building codesProven ability to lead crews and subcontractors effectivelyFamiliarity with job costing, material tracking, and daily logsKnowledge of OSHA standards and site safety protocolsAbility to read and interpret construction drawings and specificationsClear communicator who can work with clients, PMs, and field teamsSolution-oriented and calm under pressureComfortable with tech (tablet documentation, scheduling tools, email)
