JOB SUMMARY
The Hillsboro School District is seeking two (2) Technology Support 3 professionals to serve as a technical expert and key support resource within our technology team. These in-person positions require a strong background with Edupoints Synergy Student Information System with desired expertise in Scheduling and Gradebook. The ideal candidates are customer-service oriented highly collaborative and brings a detail-focused self-motivated approach to solving complex issues.
These technology support positions contribute directly to the success of our schools and we seek individuals who are adaptable team-oriented and committed to supporting district goals wherever needed.
GENERAL DUTIES :
Serve as an expert on resolving technology issues and provide support to other technology staff. Analyze newly identified technology issues and research solutions. Evaluate new technology systems and produce recommendations for adoption.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS :
- High school diploma or its equivalent
- Proficient oral and written communication skills in English
- Proficient in the use of computer and Internet based applications including but not limited to email and systems applications
- Experience performing repairs and upgrades on a wide variety of systems and end user technologies
- Experience diagnosing the root cause of technology problems
- In-depth knowledge of a wide range of computer systems software applications and end user technology
- Hold a valid Oregon drivers license
- EduPoints Synergy Student Information Systems experience
