Infrastructure Engineer

TEKsystems has a client that is seeking a motivated and technically curious IT Infrastructure Engineer to support and maintain their enterprise and OT (Operational Technology) systems and networks. This role is ideal for someone with a solid foundation in infrastructure technologies who is eager to grow their skills in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. You'll work closely with experienced engineers and cross-functional teams to ensure our systems are secure, reliable, and scalable.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide onsite and remote support for IT and OT infrastructure in a 24x7 manufacturing environment.
• Participate in on-call rotation schedule.
• Assist with the maintenance and monitoring of critical systems, including MES and enterprise platforms.
• Support the setup and troubleshooting of systems involving Nutanix virtualization, Veeam Backup, Microsoft Server OS, and Microsoft Azure.
• Help administer Microsoft infrastructure technologies not limited to : Azure AD / Entra ID, M365, Active Directory, MFA, and PKI environments.
• Collaborate with team members and stakeholders to resolve technical issues and implement infrastructure improvements.
• Foster a culture of knowledge sharing and continuous improvement within the team.
• Follow IT security best practices and assist in identifying potential vulnerabilities.
• Participate in infrastructure projects and contribute to planning and documentation.
• Maintain accurate system documentation, including backup and recovery procedures.
• Track and report on IT tasks and KPIs as directed.
• Stay current with emerging technologies and contribute ideas for continuous improvement.
• Be an escalation point for the IT Solution Center Help Desk.
