Job Summary

We are seeking a Registered Nurse to join our team. In this role, you will primarily create and manage a care plan for individual patients. You are a Registered Nurse (RN) who operates with great attention to detail and a big heart. You take pride in creating personalized care plans for patients and are able to observe and communicate effectively in your patient's best interest. To succeed, you should have demonstrated knowledge and skill in current nursing practices as well as a strong penchant for solving problems

RN Cath Lab Tech(CV TECH) duties and responsibilities focus on giving patients timely care.

Under the general direction of the physician (Cardiologist/Radiologist), will assist by scrubbing procedures or monitoring physiologic and hemodynamic data, as related to diagnostic and/or therapeutic procedures performed in the cardiovascular lab. Ensures the procedure room is adequately prepared for the procedure. Monitors the par level of all instruments and supplies. Participates in departmental staff meetings, performance improvement activities, and new staff training. Assists in all aspects of invasive and noninvasive cardiac procedures.

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, TRAINING

• Currently licensed Registered Nurse (RN) in state of employment
• Previous experience as a Registered Nurse is preferred
• Excellent interpersonal and client care skills
• Valid driver's license
• First aid/CPR certification required
• 13 weeks
• Cath Lab RN experience
• 40 hrs/wk - 4/10 hr days
• On-Call required
• RI RN License
• ACLS and BLS required.

1. ARRT-R and license as required by State or Certified Cardiovascular Technologist (CCT) or Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) required.

2. Previous experience in a Cardiovascular Lab; preferred.

3. Cardiovascular technologist training program with emphasis in invasive cardiology and hemodynamic monitoring preferred.

4. BCLS (AHA) required upon hire and maintain current.

5. Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS); required within 30 days of hire.

6. Proficient computer skills.

Compensation: $70.00 - $75.00 per hour
