Responsibilities

Administer respiratory therapy treatments to patients as prescribed by physicians.

Monitor and assess patient progress and adjust treatment plans accordingly.

Educate patients and families on respiratory health and treatment options.

Participate in ongoing professional development and training opportunities.

Collaborate with healthcare team to optimize patient care and outcomes.

Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient treatments and progress.

Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards in respiratory care.

Utilize performance metrics to evaluate and improve personal effectiveness.

Contribute to team meetings and share insights for continuous improvement.

Assist in the development of respiratory care protocols and best practices.

Manage equipment and supplies necessary for respiratory therapy services.

Engage in community outreach to promote respiratory health awareness.

Experience / Qualifications

Valid Respiratory Therapist license in Texas.

Commitment to ongoing professional development and learning.

Experience in administering respiratory therapy and patient assessments.

Proficient in maintaining accurate documentation of patient care.

Willingness to utilize performance metrics for self-improvement.

Strong communication skills for educating patients and families.

Experience with compliance to safety and regulatory standards.

Ability to work collaboratively within a healthcare team.

Experience managing respiratory therapy equipment and supplies.
