We are seeking a Municipal Engineer to support the planning, design, and construction of municipal water, wastewater, and infrastructure projects across Montana. This role is ideal for an engineer with a strong background in water systems, surface water, wells, potable water, water distribution, sewer collection, and civil site planning.

Requirements

Responsibilities

• Perform moderately complex engineering calculations using established engineering principles
• Prepare engineering drawings, designs, and technical documents using CAD and engineering software
• Write technical reports, specifications, and correspondence for internal and external audiences
• Coordinate with government agencies, client personnel, consultants, and project stakeholders
• Apply company standards and best practices across all assigned work
• Manage project tasks, scope, schedule, and budget expectations
• Support planning, design, and construction oversight for municipal and land development projects
• Prepare construction documents, specifications, and provide construction administration
• Exercise sound engineering judgment and independent decision-making
