We are seeking a Municipal Engineer to support the planning, design, and construction of municipal water, wastewater, and infrastructure projects across Montana. This role is ideal for an engineer with a strong background in water systems, surface water, wells, potable water, water distribution, sewer collection, and civil site planning.

Requirements
Responsibilities
- Perform moderately complex engineering calculations using established engineering principles
- Prepare engineering drawings, designs, and technical documents using CAD and engineering software
- Write technical reports, specifications, and correspondence for internal and external audiences
- Coordinate with government agencies, client personnel, consultants, and project stakeholders
- Apply company standards and best practices across all assigned work
- Manage project tasks, scope, schedule, and budget expectations
- Support planning, design, and construction oversight for municipal and land development projects
- Prepare construction documents, specifications, and provide construction administration
- Exercise sound engineering judgment and independent decision-making
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related fieldMinimum 5+ years of experience in municipal water and wastewater engineeringPE license in Montana or ability to obtain within 6 monthsExperience with rural water and wastewater systems strongly preferredAbility to work both independently and in collaborative team environmentsStrong work ethic and excellent understanding of engineering fundamentalsValid driver's license with clean driving recordBenefits
