[job_card.job_description]Active Iowa license Must hold MD or DO degrees and have completed a psychiatry residency Minimum 3 years experience Conduct professional routine and emergency examinations on patients. Provide in-patient psychiatric treatment to patients Make recommendations for the treatment of behavioral or psychiatric disorder. Make electronic entries in patient medical record. Comply with all applicable Federal Regulations, as well as Department and Facility Policies and Procedures. Provide assistance to the physician(s) with both routine and emergency procedures. Document treatment provided and tests administered in appropriate formats on required forms on each visit to the facility. Ensure availability to staff by telephone, voice mail, e-mail, pager and intra-facility mail, as necessary.
