Lead Cocktail Server

The Ned’s Club DC is seeking an exceptional Lead Cocktail Server for The Drawing Room, a refined and dynamic entertainment venue within our private members’ club. This role is ideal for a hospitality professional with a passion for personalized service, fast-paced environments, and a strong understanding of luxury guest expectations.

The Lead Cocktail Server will be responsible for ensuring the seamless operation of The Drawing Room’s cocktail service before, during, and after live entertainment and performances. This individual will act as the primary point of contact for members and guests in the space, delivering swift, intuitive, and polished service that reflects the highest standards of The Ned’s Club.

The Ned and Ned’s Club are a global collection of hotels, clubs, spas, and restaurants for like-minded individuals to meet, work and have a good time.

Seven years after launching The Ned London in 2017, we are proud to be opening a Ned’s Club in the US capital, our fourth and newest location.

The Property…

Ned’s Club Washington DC is a members’ club set over three floors of a neoclassical style building situated within President’s Park at 734 15th Street NW. The Riggs Building sits opposite the US Treasury and was constructed in 1930. The 12-story building is located around the corner from the White House and sits above the Milken Center for Advancing the American Dream, formerly the historic Riggs Bank Corcoran branch.

The Club has a Rooftop Terrace and Loft Restaurant with views overlooking the White House, US Treasury and Washington Monument, plus a Founder’s Dining Room, The Library, Drawing Room, Gallery and Conservatory. On level nine, there is a self-contained floor of private event spaces.

Reporting into the Restaurant management team and as the friendly face of the member experience you will :

• Lead service in The Drawing Room, ensuring a high level of attention and pace during entertainment activations
• Provide anticipatory, personalized service to members and guests in a luxury setting
• Prepare, coordinate, and maintain service flow before, during, and after live music and performances
• Guide guests through cocktail offerings, upsell premium selections, and provide knowledgeable recommendations
• Ensure all orders are accurately entered using the Micros POS system
• Set and maintain the ambiance and presentation standards of the space
• Support fellow team members and bar staff in maintaining cleanliness, organization, and guest readiness
• Address member and guest needs with urgency, discretion, and hospitality
• Maintain knowledge of house events, performances, and exclusive offerings to enhance service delivery
