A Day in the Life of the Senior Network Internet Design Engineer :

• IP Network Design, Configuration and Optimization :
• Create, review and document router, switch, and link configurations based on standards and plans
• Create, review and disseminate project justifications, diagrams, and other plan / proposal documents.
• Problem Solving - IP traffic analysis and traffic engineering, fault identification and solution.
• Evaluate new technologies, techniques and products.
• Implement new product offerings and enhancements.
• Optimize network security, route-policy, traffic management and hardware utilization.

Base Salary : The base salary range in California, Washington, Oregon, Massachusetts, Washington DC, and New York, for this position is $135,000 - $165,000 annually, plus opportunities for bonus, benefits and commission, if applicable. The base pay range represents the low and high end of the hiring range for this job. Actual pay will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to relevant skills, experience, and capabilities. It is specific to California, Washington, Oregon, Massachusetts, Washington DC, and New York, and may not be applicable to other locations.
