Responsibilities:
- Assist residents with daily living activities (bathing, dressing, feeding, toileting, mobility).
- Take and record vital signs and report changes to nursing staff.
- Help residents move safely and maintain comfort and dignity.
- Keep rooms clean and follow infection control procedures.
- Support nurses with care tasks and documentation.
- Provide compassionate, respectful care and emotional support.
Requirements:
- Current CNA certification in Virginia.
- High school diploma or GED.
- CPR/First Aid certification (preferred).
- Ability to lift and assist residents safely.
- Reliable, patient, and caring demeanor.
- Willingness to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a nursing home or long-term care setting.
- Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems.
