Remote IT Project Manager (Epic OpTime, Cupid, Radiant) 4-Month Contract

About the Role
Sigma, Inc. is seeking an experienced IT Project Manager II to join our remote team. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented project management professional with hands-on experience leading Epic OpTime, Cupid, and Radiant implementations in large multi-hospital environments .
Under the direction of senior leadership, the IT Project Manager will oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of clinical and information system projects, ensuring quality, timeliness, and alignment with business objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead multiple medium-to-large IT and clinical system projects from initiation to completion.
- Create and manage project scope, schedule, resources, and budgets .
- Develop project artifacts including Charter, Project Plan, Budget Tracker, RACI , status reports, and steering committee materials.
- Facilitate project kick-offs and manage cross-functional teams, vendors, and stakeholders across multiple locations.
- Identify dependencies, risks, and issues early; develop mitigation and contingency plans.
- Maintain meticulous documentation for audit readiness and compliance with PMO standards.
- Ensure user training, readiness, and competency before go-live.
- Partner with IS training and vendors to prepare technical and user documentation.
- Communicate project updates and deliverables to executive leadership on a regular basis.
Qualifications
Bachelors degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience).6+ years of experience leading IT and clinical project implementations.Proven track record managing Epic or Meditech clinical systems projects.Required experience : Epic OpTime, Cupid, and Radiant implementations in multi-hospital environments.Strong knowledge of project planning, budgeting, and resource management.Extensive project management experience required; PMP certification strongly preferred.Experience working in large, complex healthcare systems is highly preferred.Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and documentation skills.
