A company is looking for a Deputy General Counsel to oversee core legal operations and serve as a primary legal advisor.

Key Responsibilities

Lead the legal function, advising internal teams and supporting the General Counsel

Review, draft, and negotiate various commercial contracts

Provide legal advice on risks and regulatory considerations across multiple departments

Required Qualifications

J.D. from an accredited law school and licensed to practice in at least one U.S. jurisdiction

10+ years of legal experience, with at least 5 years in-house supporting technology companies

Experience with SaaS agreements and understanding of B2B subscription-based business models

Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional legal matters and balance legal risk with business objectives

Familiarity with global privacy and cybersecurity laws is a bonus
