Administrative Fellowship
The Administrative Fellowship is a one-year, postgraduate opportunity, designed for individuals interested in an administrative career in pediatric health care. Reporting to a senior executive, fellows will receive hands-on experience in both clinical and non-clinical areas through a combination of project work, rotations, observations and shadowing experiences.
Providing hands-on administrative experience across a wide variety of disciplines
Exposure to executive leadership at all levels within the organization
Participation in projects that are aligned with both the fellow's interests and career goals and the interests and needs of other areas of the hospital.
Preparing the fellow for a leadership career in pediatric health care.
With the assistance of the senior executive team, fellows will have the autonomy to develop a set of project proposals, as well as gain insight into all aspects of health care administration by means of observation, committee meetings and hands-on experience.
Knowledge, skills and abilities :
Effective interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills are necessary to interact with all internal and external customers.
Strong customer service commitment.
Education and experience :
Must be postgraduate of an accredited college or university.
