Make afternoons matter. Help elementary-age girls build courage, confidence, and character through hands-on after-school clubs. If you love working with youth and want your impact to ripple through families and communities, this role is for you.
Pay : $25 / hour
Locations : Elementary school sites across Sacramento / Modesto & surrounding counties (travel between sites required)
What you’ll do
Prepare and deliver engaging Girl Scouts club programming at assigned school sites
Model inclusion, confidence, and positive leadership; support social-emotional growth
Keep accurate records (attendance, behavior notes, registrations, session overviews)
Partner with parents / guardians and after-school staff; build buy-in and communicate plans
Follow Girl Scout health, safety, and program standards; attend trainings and weekly meetings
What you bring
Experience working with youth (education, after-school, camps, or similar)
18+ years old; reliable transportation to travel between sites
Judgment, flexibility, enthusiasm, and patience; bilingual a plus
Preferred (not required) : Bachelor’s degree, 12 child-development units, or state instructional aide eligibility; current First Aid / CPR
Physical : Lift / carry up to 25 lbs.
