[job_card.job_description]ICP-OES / ICP-MS trace metal quantification GFAA / CVAAS / CVAFS sensitive detection of specific metals (e.g., mercury) Colorimetric methods spectrophotometric metal testing Block digestors wet chemistry sample prep following EPA methods QA / QC procedures in compliance with EPA and NELAC guidelines Calibration, blanks, LCS, spikes, duplicates Proficiency in conducting or participating in internal audits Adherence to SOPs Data entry, result reporting, flagging issues Maintaining data integrity and traceability Cross-functional teamwork with QA staff and fellow analysts Willingness to support ad hoc assignments or investigations Effective communication of anomalies or improvements Education : B.S. or M.S. in Chemistry, Environmental Science, or related discipline Experience : 13+ years in an environmental lab focused on metals Certifications (if applicable) : NELAC, EPA certifications, LIMS training

1. Analytical Chemistry Expertise
- Metal analysis in environmental matrices (water, soil, sludge, etc.)
- Sample digestion (EPA 200.7, 200.8, 245.1, etc.)
- Data validation and result interpretation
