Job Title: Medical Assistant - Infectious Disease - Back Office

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Back-Office Medical Assistant to join our team. This role involves supporting patient care and ensuring smooth operations within the back office.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care and support.
• Assist with medical procedures and patient examinations.
• Perform rooming and vitals checks.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records using EPIC systems.
• Collaborate with a team of medical assistants and healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality care.

Essential Skills

• Proficiency in EPIC systems.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• 2 years of experience in medical assisting.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
• Looking for 2 years of experience in the field.

Work Environment

This position operates within a dynamic teaching practice, handling 70-100 patients. The facility includes 14 exam rooms and a team of 9 medical assistants. The work schedule is Monday to Friday, from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of St. Louis, MO.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $22.00/hr.
