Job Overview
DFW Electric Group is seeking motivated, reliable Apprentice Electricians to join our Electrical Service and Construction Department. This role is designed for individuals who want to build a long-term career in the electrical trade while gaining hands-on experience under the guidance of licensed Journeyman Electricians. You will assist with installations, maintenance, and repairs on commercial and industrial projects while developing your technical skills in a safety-first, professional environment.

Key Responsibilities
- Arrive at service calls and job sites on time and prepared
- Work alongside licensed Journeyman Electricians to support service and construction tasks
- Interact with customers in a professional and courteous manner
- Perform routine maintenance on electrical systems as requested
- Assist with electrical installations and repairs in accordance with applicable codes
- Follow specifications from blueprints, diagrams, and technical drawings
- Utilize required safety equipment and follow all safety regulations and company guidelines
- Maintain a clean, organized, and professional work environment
- Ensure tools and equipment are functioning properly at the beginning of each shift
- Maintain stock of commonly used materials in service vehicles
- Confirm customer satisfaction before departing service calls
- Report job updates, issues, or concerns promptly to management
Qualifications
High school diploma or GED requiredValid Texas Apprentice Electrician License requiredValid Texas driver's license with acceptable driving recordMinimum 2 years of experience as an Apprentice Electrician preferredBasic working knowledge of commercial and residential electrical systemsAbility to follow instructions and work independently when requiredAbility to read blueprints, technical drawings, and diagrams is a plusStrong work ethic with a desire to learn and improve technical skillsReliable, punctual, and safety-consciousProfessional communication and customer service skillsAbility to keep accurate records and documentationA background check will be completed as part of the onboarding process, in compliance with applicable lawsCompensation & Benefits
