Production Assembler - Carpentry

We are currently seeking both full and part-time applicants to join our incredible assembly shop team. This position is a crucial part of the success of our Smithfield location, and will require attention to detail and a commitment to produce quality products. Some prior assembly experience is preferred but not required.

The Assembler position is scheduled M-F out of Smithfield, RI. The start time of the shift is 6 : 00 AM and full-time assemblers can leave once the day's production is finished. Assemblers will spend their first 2 weeks shadowing a mentor to learn the responsibilities and safety processes of the role. After the 2 week period the employee will be a full member of the assembly team and will be entrusted to use the machinery required for their role.

In this role you will focus on :

Responsibilities and Essential Functions :

• Ability to use hand tools, staple guns and other electric tools when necessary
• Using kitted frame parts and prepped doors, assemble interior and exterior door units
• Prep material for assembly using exact measurements
• Read work orders to ensure accuracy of assembly within warehouse
• Make necessary repairs or adjustments to ensure quality compliance
• Hit safety, quality and production goals to receive a bonus at the end of each quarter
• Conduct all activities in a safe manner, adhering to company safety standards
