Data Analyst (Thai Language)

Lightcast is seeking data-driven individuals with specific language expertise to help expand our global product features. This person will play a key role in ensuring we deliver high-quality data to our clients.

Note : This is a full-time (40 hours / week) independent contractor position for 6 to 9 months. It is a BYOD (bring your own device) role requiring access to a personal laptop.

Major Responsibilities

• Analyze and improve data quality of multilingual text classifiers.
• Work with linguistics and engineering teams to build out new parsers across languages.
• Translate various taxonomies such as Skills, Titles, and Occupations.
• Competency in reading and writing Hebrew
• Understanding of syntax and structural analysis of languages
• Microsoft Excel experience (including vlookups, data cleanup, and functions)
• Knowledge of query languages such as SQL
• Advanced knowledge of rule writing using RegEx
• Knowledge of text analysis or machine learning principles
• Experience with data analysis using tools such as Excel or Python
• High tolerance for repetitive and monotonous work.
• Ability to follow complex instructions, navigate ambiguity and work independently.
• Superb sense of urgency and time management.
• Reliable laptop and internet access
