Job Description

Position Purpose :  Staff Pharmacists in a hospital is responsible for dispensing medications, managing inventory and ensuring patient safety. They also education patients and medical staff about drugs and help develop and maintain pharmacy policies.

Full Time Pharmacist : Friday-Saturday-Sunday : 3-12hour night shift (7pm-7 : 30am)

$10,000 Sign on Bonus

W hat you will do :

• Physicians orders are evaluated accurately for input into the pharmacy computer system for all disease states and patient age groups.
• Incompatibility data, drug interaction data, and drug allergy information is thoroughly reviewed for each order processed.
• Recommendations for therapeutic substitutions or optimizing drug therapy are clear and concise.
• Patient counseling and drug information is presented in a knowledgeable and informative manner.
• Adverse drug reactions reported are accurate and thorough.

Orders input is timely and consistent with workload demands.

Maintains current knowledge of pharmacy profession as well as applicable laws and regulations
