Kappo Tsan is a 30-seat Japanese restaurant & chef’s counter by Executive Chef David Tsan. The name “kappo” translates to “to cut and to cook”, a style of dining that blends the elegance of kaiseki with the approachability of an izakaya. Unlike the formality of omakase, kappo emphasizes warmth and connection between chef and guest, creating an immersive and interactive dining experience.  We’re looking for enthusiastic, reliable, and service-oriented team members to help provide an unparalleled experience to our guests!

YOUR TASKS :

• Present menus to guests and provide detailed answers to menu inquiries
• Upsell menu items to enhance guest dining experiences
• Assist guests with their orders in a friendly, efficient manner
• Operate the POS system accurately and quickly
• Multitask between various guest requests and responsibilities as needed
• Clean and sanitize work areas during and after shifts
• Collaborate with fellow team members to maintain smooth operations

REQUIREMENTS :

• 2+ years prior serving experience in fine-dining restaurant highly preferred
• Must be 18 or older
• Flexible to work nights, weekends, and holidays
• Passion for learning and growing in the food & hospitality industry
• Calm under pressure with strong communication skills
• Ability to hear, see, and speak clearly
• Maintain a clean, professional appearance
• Ability to stand / walk for up to 8 hours
• Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs.
