About The Position
š Start Date : January 1, 2026, | 6.5 shifts / month | 24-hour shifts
š¼ 1099 Locum to Perm | No clinic duties | Inpatient-only
Seeking a Board-Certified or truly Board-Eligible OB / GYN Hospitalist for an exciting Locum to Perm opportunity starting January 1, 2026 . This is a well-supported inpatient role with 24-hour OBED coverage and no clinic responsibilities.

Start Date : January 1, 2026
Shifts : 6.5 per month
Shift Duration : 24 hours (7aā7a)
Call : 24-hour in-house, including holidays
- Telehealth : No
Supervision of APPs : No
Exam Rooms : 8-bed OBED
EMR : Epic

Fully equipped OBED with inpatient focus only
Access to Medical Imaging , Lab , and Pharmacy
OBED sees ~1,389 visits per year with ~463 deliveries
Sole Maternity Transport Team in Iowa
š©ŗ Responsibilities
Manage OBED patients, emergent OB cases
Attend vaginal deliveries and C-sections
Care for patients without a primary OB / GYN
Participate in the regionās only maternity transport program

Board Certified or Truly Board Eligible ā Required
Active Iowa License or Active IMLC ā Required
