[job_card.job_description]Bachelors degree in Business Analytics, Statistics, Mathematics, Econometrics, Engineering, or another related field with significant analytical coursework 3+ years of experience in an analytics role, preferably in marketing and growth analytics 3+ years working with SQL or Python 2+ years of hands-on experience designing and analyzing large scale A / B tests and interpreting results in a business context 2+ years of experience building dashboards and reports in Power BI, Tableau, or other visualization tools Experience with Databricks Experience with Azure (AWS, GCP okay too) Experience with IoT, SaaS, and / or intelligent consumer products & services Experience with Salesforce, SAP, and CDP platforms such as Tealium Experience setting up temporary, easy-to-understand data views in Azure that allow business teams to run their own reports and analysis without needing IT help
Lead Data Science Analyst
Location : Oak Brook, IL - 3 days onsite per week
Salary : $100-$160K
Position Summary :
We are seeking a Lead Data Science Analyst to drive business impact by translating data and analytics into actionable insights. This is a highly visible, hands-on role that partners closely with business units to influence strategy, optimize performance, and guide decision-making. The role requires strong technical expertise in analytics and experimentation paired with solid business acumen.
Responsibilities :
- Partner with business leaders to understand strategy, initiatives, and KPIs, ensuring shared accountability for outcomes.
- Identify trends, opportunities, and risks within business operations through advanced analytics.
- Generate hypotheses to improve results and validate them with structured testing and rigorous data analysis.
- Deliver clear, executive-level insights and recommendations via reports, dashboards, and presentations.
- Analyze customer journeys, funnel conversion, and cohort behavior to uncover growth opportunities.
- Use SQL (and / or Python) to extract, manipulate, and analyze large datasets.
- Build dashboards and data visualizations (Power BI, Tableau) to communicate insights across teams.
- Ensure accuracy and integrity in all analytics, reporting, and experimentation.
- Promote a culture of data-driven decision-making and effective data collection practices.
