Registered Nurse (RN) Ortho Trauma

Ortho Trauma Nursing Position

Ortho Trauma is seeking a part-time nurse for days. Two 12-hour shifts per week, every third weekend, 7am to 7 : 30pm. Located at Ascension St. Vincent in Indianapolis, IN. This step-down unit from ICU cares for patients with musculoskeletal issues like broken or fractured bones, arthritis, osteoporosis, joint replacements, and other injuries and diseases. You will work as part of the orthopedic team, ensuring patients on the road to recovery are properly regaining strength and range of motion.

Responsibilities include providing direct nursing care, implementing and monitoring patient care plans, monitoring and communicating patient conditions, coordinating patient care, and assessing and coordinating patient discharge planning.

Requirements include BLS Provider certification, Registered Nurse credentialing from the Indiana Board of Nursing, and a diploma from an accredited school / college of nursing or required professional licensure at time of hire. Previous Trauma or ER experience is preferred.
