The Association Banking Lockbox Processor I position is responsible for daily processing and preparing lockbox payments. Essential duties and responsibilities include opening and reviewing incoming lockbox mail and preparing lockbox payments, placing postage on department documents to be mailed, preparing documents awaiting system input, processing various customer requests in systems, verifying various document requests previously processed in systems, performing document scanning, committing, and auditing processes, and following written and verbal department procedures. The ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner is also required. Completes required BSA / AML training and other compliance training as assigned. Perform any other related duties as required or assigned.

Ability to read and understand documents such as policy manuals, safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals; Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, ratios, and proportions to practical situations. Ability to utilize common sense understanding in order to carry out written, oral or diagrammed instructions.
