Program Director

The Program Director is responsible for strategic planning, team leadership, resource management, and key stakeholder communication in support of and overseeing a portfolio of projects including new service rollouts, implementation of brand initiatives, national promotions, and the design and construction of franchised locations. The Program Director works with key stakeholders to ensure projects are completed timely, within budget, and aligned with company objectives. In addition, this role leads, coaches, and develops a team of project managers to drive consistency, efficiency, and excellence across the franchise network.

Essential Functions :

• Define, develop, and implement project management strategies, processes, and best practices to enhance project delivery
• Oversee the planning, execution, and completion of design and construction projects, including new location openings, and the refresh / remodel / relocation of existing franchised locations, as well as new service rollouts, brand initiatives, and national promotions, ensuring timely completion and in accordance with brand standards
• Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders including leadership, internal cross-functional team members, vendors, and franchisees
• Ensure effective communication and collaboration with relevant stakeholders on project status
• Assist with risk management and mitigation strategies, reporting progress and any necessary modifications to project plans to Project Sponsor and Director, National Operations
• Works with Director, National Operations, to establish, coordinate and determine prioritization across multiple projects and manage implementation capacity for project management team and the network to ensure successful execution
• Manages individual projects approximately 25% of the time, working with Project Sponsors and cross-functional teams to define scope, timeline, tasks, and dependencies, leading the project from initiation through post-mortem analysis
• Conducts post-mortems across portfolio of projects to identify areas for continuous improvement and sharing of best practices
• Lead, develop, and coach team of Project Managers, and construction manager(s), conducting talent assessments, delegating tasks and executing performance reviews
