Plant Engineer - Norwood, MA (Onsite | 1st Shift)

Pay Range : $138,000 - $156,000 annually (based on experience and qualifications)

What You'll Do

  • Lead and execute capital improvement projects from concept to completion.
  • Apply mechanical engineering expertise to process and equipment upgrades.
  • Partner with Operations, Maintenance, and vendors on system installations.
  • Improve throughput, reliability, and automation across production lines.
  • Manage project documentation, drawings, and compliance (USDA / FDA / OSHA).
  • Drive innovation and continuous improvement through smart plant design.

    • What You'll Bring

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering (or related field).
  • 7+ years of hands-on manufacturing experience (food industry a plus).
  • Strong skills in mechanical design, project management, AutoCAD, and SolidWorks.
  • Excellent communicator who thrives in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.
  • A curious, resourceful, "let's make it happen" mindset.

  • Experience with sanitary food equipment, Lean manufacturing, or refrigeration systems.
  • Bilingual (English / Spanish) abilities - extra kudos! USES
