Responsibilities
Train and develop team members to company standardsCook on the line according to business demandsDay-to-day culinary operationsCoordinate food and kitchenware ordersAssist Chef accordance with business needs.Check freshness and quality of ingredientsAssist in the development of menu itemsAnticipate ingredient needs and arrange re-stock accordinglyCoordinate scheduling of BOH staff and in admin functions as directed by leadership.Ensure a productive kitchen flow that upholds business standardsStandardize recipes and plate presentationsWork with management to create a memorable experience for guestsQualifications
Experience working as a head line cook, sous chef or chefHigh familiarity with kitchen equipment, processes, and health and safety guidelinesAble to delegate tasks effectively and assist when neededAdaptable to high traffic and kitchen volumePrevious experience in culinary arts, cooking, or other related fieldsKnowledge of cost and labor systemsPassion for food and cooking techniquesStrong leadership qualitiesAbility to thrive in a fast-paced environment
