This Dietary Aide opportunity is per diem and a convenient schedule.This position is for our Northern Nevada Medical Center in Sparks. Under the direct supervision of the Food & Nutrition Services Director, Supervisor, or Lead, the Diet Aide performs a variety of patient food service and dish duties.
Job Duties / Responsibilities :
- Prepares all food items and patient meal trays accurately based on diet order, approved recipes and patient meal tickets
- Uses proper techniques to ensure food safety. Techniques include, but not limited to : hand hygiene, glove use, temperature monitoring / control, cleaning and sanitizing
- Follows procedures for stocking trayline, prep areas and nourishment rooms.
- Utilizes proper delivery and pickup procedures including patient identification, isolation techniques, and dishroom procedures.

Requirements
High school graduate or equivalent.ServSafe Certification preferred within 6 months of hire.Dietary experience preferred.
