SAP ITGC Controls Specialist

About the Role

Our client is seeking an SAP ITGC Controls Specialist to ensure compliance, security, and control across our global SAP S / 4HANA ERP environment. This is a high-impact role where youll safeguard financial reporting, support audit readiness, and strengthen IT governance in a fast-paced, multinational setting.

What Youll Do

  • Perform and monitor SAP S / 4HANA IT General Controls (ITGCs) in line with company policies and standards
  • Ensure compliance with SOX and audit requirements, partnering with internal and external auditors
  • Develop and maintain ITGC documentation, procedures, and risk assessments
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (IT, Finance, Sales, Production, Audit) to implement and maintain controls
  • Identify gaps in ITGC processes and recommend enhancements
  • Support global operations, including overlapping hours with teams in Germany and China
  • Stay current with SAP updates, industry trends, and best practices

What Were Looking For

  • 5+ years of SAP ERP experience (PP, FICO, SD, MM, EWM modules)
  • Deep expertise in SAP S / 4HANA
  • 4+ years working in U.S. public companies with Big 4 auditor exposure
  • Strong knowledge of ITGC frameworks and audit processes
  • Experience with global compliance requirements
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
  • Willingness to work flexible hours to support global teams
  • Mandarin language skills preferred
