Lube Technician - Night Shift

SHIFT : Night Shift- Monday - Friday, 11 : 00pm- 7 : 30am

THE ROLE OF A LUBE TECHNICIAN :

Under general supervision, performs safety and maintenance inspections, preventive maintenance on vehicles and / or heavy landfill equipment and / or stationary equipment.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE, AND ARE NOT LIMITED TO :

• Performs preventive maintenance and safety inspections on any or all company vehicles, heavy landfill equipment and stationary equipment.
• Accurately and efficiently completes paperwork and / or computer database entries relating to the work performed, documenting parts and supply usage. Generates repair orders to communicate defects or areas of concerns for follow up and / or corrective action.
• Performs minor repairs and cleaning of components as required. Performs other maintenance related work as required by supervisor or foreman.
• Operate forklift and other yard equipment as required.
• Performs all work in accordance to company standards and policies and DOT standards for safety.
• Maintains a clean, safe work area in accordance with company policy and federal, state and local requirements.

QUALIFICATIONS :

Any combination of education and experience that would likely provide the required knowledge, skills and abilities is qualifying. A typical way to qualify is :

Valid driver's license.
