Civil & Environmental Engineering

The Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering seeks applications from extraordinarily qualified individuals for a Research Associate II position. This position will be regular and include benefits.Provides support and research in areas of 1) source tracking of environmental contaminants in both natural and engineered systems; 2) monitoring and modeling of the dynamics of environmental microbiomes; and 3) developing laboratory protocols for chemical and microbiological analyses. Responsibilities include design and implementation of field / laboratory sampling and analysis; modeling and data analytics; preparing and presenting project reports; publishing research results in academic journals; and participating in writing research proposals.

Qualifications

Requirements :

• Master’s in Environmental Engineering, Chemical Engineering or closely related field.
• 2 years of research experience (including degree program) in water / wastewater quality with training in advanced instrumentation for chemical analysis.
