Role Description

This is a part-time, on-site role for an Optician located in Paoli, PA. The optician will be responsible for assisting customers with eyewear selection, educating patients on lens options, ensuring proper fit and adjustment of eyeglasses, assist with answering emails / phone calls and working closely with eye care professionals. Additional responsibilities include maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction, facilitating communication between patients and the optometry team, and supporting general front-desk operations when needed.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of Optics and Eye Exams to assist and advise customers on lens and frame options effectively
• Strong Customer Service and Customer Satisfaction skills to provide a welcoming and positive patient experience
• Familiarity with Optometry processes and the ability to collaborate with eye care professionals
• Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and multitasking skills
• Experience with eyewear fitting and adjustments is a plus
• High school diploma or equivalent; certification or licensure as an optician is a bonus
