Job Description:
- $20K SIGNING BONUS
- Perform all pharmacist functions including compounding, dispensing, verification, and documentation of medications across central, satellite, and IV areas.
- Review and monitor medication orders and patient profiles to prevent, identify, and resolve drug-related problems; complete pharmacist consults and perform pharmacokinetic dosing, monitoring, and adjustments.
- Provide safe, timely, and cost-effective medication therapy; actively participate in stewardship, dose optimization, surveillance, and restricted-use programs.
- Engage in direct patient care and interdisciplinary rounds, ensuring smooth transitions of care from admission through discharge and follow-up.
- Educate and counsel patients, families, and healthcare team members on safe and effective medication use.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
• Proficiency in utilizing EPIC electronic health records (EHR) and clinical decision support systems
• Perform Clinical Consultations on Glycemic Management, Anticoagulation, and Pharmacokinetics
• Must possess the ability to establish and maintain effective relationships with hospital staff and physicians as well as the public
• American Society of Health-System Pharmacist (ASHP) Board Certification [Preferred]
• PGY1 Pharmacy Residency [Preferred]
Education:
• Bachelor's in pharmacy [Required]
• Doctorate in Pharmacy [Preferred]
Work Experience:
• 1+ years hospital related experience [Required]
Licenses and Certifications:
• Kansas Licensed Pharmacist [Required]
