Position Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Food Runner with a passion for hospitality and a willingness to contribute in both the dining room and the kitchen. This role is essential in ensuring that our guests receive their meals promptly, accurately, and beautifully presented. In addition to delivering food, you will assist with garnish preparation and occasionally support in making sauces, bridging the gap between Front of House and Back of House operations.
Responsibilities :
- Deliver food orders from the kitchen to guests quickly, accurately, and with attention to presentation.
- Act as the communication link between Front of House and Back of House staff, ensuring smooth service flow.
- Assist the culinary team with basic prep work such as preparing garnishes, assembling dishes, and making sauces as needed.
- Ensure food quality and safety standards are maintained, including serving dishes at proper temperature.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of service areas, ensuring garnishes and mise en place are well stocked.
- Support servers and bartenders with guest needs to ensure seamless hospitality.
Requirements :
Prior experience in hospitality or food service preferred; basic culinary knowledge required.Strong oral communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.Multi-tasking abilities and attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.Availability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.Ability to remain calm, professional, and guest-focused during busy service periods.Physical stamina to carry trays, stand for extended periods, and move efficiently between kitchen and dining areas.
