Overview
The Senior Manager, Office of the CEO serves as a strategic partner and trusted advisor to the Chief Executive
Officer (CEO), providing high-level management support, organizational oversight, and coordination of executive
initiatives. This position ensures the efficient and effective operation of the CEO’s office by driving strategic
projects, managing governance processes, and exercising independent judgment on behalf of the CEO. The Senior
Manager represents the CEO in internal and external matters, facilitates alignment across executive functions, and
ensures that priorities are executed with excellence and discretion.
Responsibilities
Executive Leadership & Strategic Alignment
- Serve as the primary liaison between the CEO, executive leadership team, and Board of Directors, ensuring clear
communication, follow-up, and execution of key organizational initiatives.
Anticipate the needs of the CEO by proactively identifying issues, gathering data, and recommending courses ofaction to advance strategic objectives.
Represent the CEO and the organization at internal and external meetings, communicating executive decisions,priorities, and initiatives with professionalism and authority.
Provide strategic and operational insights to assist in executive decision-making and planning processes.Governance & Board Relations
Oversee governance operations, including scheduling, preparing board materials, ensuring compliance withbylaws, and coordinating communications between the CEO and Board of Directors.
Partner with executive leadership to ensure timely preparation and accuracy of board reports and strategicdocumentation.
Maintain thorough understanding of governance policies, making recommendations for enhancements or processimprovements.
Project & Operational Management
Lead and coordinate enterprise-level projects or special initiatives assigned by the CEO, ensuring milestones,deliverables, and outcomes are met.
Develop and implement office systems, processes, and standards that increase efficiency and effectivenessacross executive operations.
Monitor progress of strategic priorities, identifying risks, and ensuring appropriate follow-up and accountabilityamong senior leaders.
Collaborate with department heads and system partners to streamline executive workflows and decision-makingprocesses.
Executive Communications & Analysis
Draft, edit, and review executive-level correspondence, briefings, and presentations on behalf of the CEO.Synthesize complex information and data into concise, actionable insights for executive and board decisionmaking.Manage sensitive communications and maintain the highest level of confidentiality, judgment, and discretion.Leadership & Supervision
May supervise administrative or project support staff, ensuring quality, timeliness, and professionalism of alldeliverables.
Foster collaboration and trust across departments by modeling professionalism, accountability, and executivepresence.
Qualifications
Required Education :
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Health Administration, Public Policy, Communications, or arelated field; or equivalent experience of 10+ years in a similar role may be considered in lieu of a degree.
Work Experience :
Required : 7 of progressively responsible experience supporting senior executives, including at least 3 years in amanagement, project leadership, or chief-of-staff–type role
