Nurse Employee Health 2

Chipton-Ross is seeking a Nurse Employee Health 2 for a contract opportunity in Newport News, VA.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS (REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE):
• 2 Years with Bachelor of Science degree in related field; 0 years of relevant professional experience with a Master's Degree. Must be a Registered Nurse (RN).

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
Provides nursing services and first aid to employees or persons who become ill or injured at work facilities and industrial plants. Administers health management programs such as workers compensation, long-term disability, and wellness programs. Maintains record of persons treated; prepares accident reports; provides health education information; dispenses standard drugs and medicines such as aspirin and cough or cold tablets; refers contagious diseases or serious injuries to company or employees physician. May work with industrial toxicology and/or hygienists to recognize environmental factors and/or stresses in or from the workplace that may cause sickness, impaired health, or discomfort among the workers.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS (DESIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE):
• PFT Qualified would be nice, but not a show stopper

REQUIRED EDUCATION:
Bachelor's Degree required. See Requirements.
School must be accredited.

WORK HOURS:
Full-Time 5/40 workweek. During training, the individual will be working 1st shift (about 2 months- 7:00AM-3:30PM or about that time frame, then transitioning to 2nd shift 3:00PM-11:30PM)
