Physician / ObGyn / California / Locum or Permanent / OB / GYN Physician Job

A growing health services company in California is currently seeking a licensedOB / GYN Physician to join one of their facilities in Los Angeles. In this role, the OB / GYN Physician will be responsible forprovide general care to women, includingservices relating to pregnancy or childbirth as well as treating, testing, diagnosing and monitoring diseases.

About the Opportunity :

• Start Date : ASAP

Assignment Length : Ongoing

Schedule : Monday to Friday

Hours : 8am to 5pm

Call : Sharedtelephonic on the weekends and evenings

EMR : ECW

Setting : Clinic

Patient Population : Adults (primarily) & Adolescents

Patient Volume : 18 to 22 per day

Responsibilities :

The OB / GYN Physician will :

Examine, diagnose,and prescribetreatment for patients

Actively participates in multidisciplinary team approach to case management

Functionappropriately as part of care delivery team through efficient use of resources and skills

Chart in electronic format in accordance with licensure and scope

Utilizequality improvement tools to promote continuous improvement in the delivery of patient care, outcomes and workflows

Perform other duties, as needed

Qualifications :

Medical Doctorate degree (M.D.) and / orDoctor of Osteopathy (D.O.) from an accredited School of Medicine

Licensed to practice medicine in the State of California

Board Eligible / Certified OB / GYN

BLS certification
