The RN is responsible for the delivery of direct and indirect patient care through the nursing process in all assigned areas. Assessment of patients upon admission using appropriate interview techniques to obtain past medical history, current medical status, vital signs, lab work, x-rays, and other diagnostic tests is required. Involvement in the planning and implementation of a written care plan under the direction of a Physician is expected. Every other weekend availability is required. All RNs are required to wear navy blue scrubs. Availability for holidays is required. Strong mathematical and analytical skills are essential. Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills are necessary.
