Senior Accountant (QuickBooks)

Senior Accountant

We are seeking a diligent and experienced Senior Accountant to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting, while contributing to departmental and organizational projects. This position requires a strong understanding of accounting practices, as well as the ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities :

• Assist with monthly financial statements, reports, and records by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing account information.
• Perform Balance Sheet account reconciliations, accrual calculations, and other related accounting documents / schedules.
• Analyze and review general ledger accounts in preparation for month-end close and resolve any outstanding accounting issues, including open reconciling items, in a timely manner.
• Prepare journal entries and account reconciliations, analysis, accrual calculations, and other related accounting documents / schedules.
• Understand and analyze Intercompany transactions.
• Prepare bank reconciliations.
• Prepare various sales reports and KPI reports.
• Maintain fixed assets and depreciation calculations and analyses.
• Ensure financial records are maintained in compliance with accepted policies and procedures.
• Make certain all financial reporting deadlines are met.
• Ensure accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and year-end close processes.
• Contribute to department and organization special projects as assigned.

Job Type & Location :

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Irvine, CA.

Pay and Benefits :

The pay range for this position is $38.46 - $50.48 / hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
